Please sign this petition to stop the use of Neonicotinoids in our towns and cities. Urban areas are seeing a massive decline of pollinators due to urbanisation and reduction of green spaces. More pollen rich habitats are needed within our urban areas to support this incredibly important species. Without pollinators there would be a huge decline in our food, such as apple, strawberries, almonds, pears the list can go on and on. Local Councils in the UK need to know that use of these toxins are dangerous, not just to pollinators but to humans too. Councils in urban areas need to recognise the damage being done by urbanisation. With local council and government support more pollen rich habitats could be created to increase the connectivity between green space. More pollinator friendly habitats need to be created
