My Godson's dog had a fractured leg after animal control picked him up. $10,000 so far to repair his leg. I am beyond disgusted.

Stupid people, they don’t have any business being employed by animal services they are not supposed to hit that poor baby

Absolutely sad that the first line of gaining an animals trust to rescue them is violence or abuse! Them being unsure and afraid is bad enough and now you throw an obviously scared person in the mix to capture them and it makes rehabilitation and transitioning into a home or shelter even more frightening for these poor babies. They should absolutely have better training for officers. So they can do their job correctly and with confidence rather than running in and scared. That helps no one. Nor the dog or human.

ACO should be better trained to understand that brutality is not appropriate.

The actions by this inexperienced and poorly trained ACO needs to be addressed. What happened to this dog is nothing short of ANIMAL ABUSE and this ACO needs to be held accountable for her abusive actions towards an innocent dog. Not only the loss of her position as an ACO but also be charged criminally for animal abuse.

More training on behavior needed to avoid unnecessary injury to defenseless animals and better equip officers
