Stop The Use Of Essential Oils Diffused In Public Schools

I love essential oils and their benefits but they are potent! Many people don't practice safe usage. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a teacher determining which oils are safe for each child. There is no way they can know the medications each child is on! Interactions are a real concern!

My children have medical conditions and can't be around certain oils

EOs are not something to play with. Teachers simply do not have the technical knowledge or the medical understanding to take it upon themselves to diffuse these very potent products in their classrooms. Just like diffusing in hospitals (I still can't believe that actually happens), this is not a good idea. Someone is going to get sick, or, heaven forbid, die.
As a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, I do not recommend diffusing essential oils in the classroom without the full consent of all parents, who acknowledge the risks associated with diffusing essential oils in this manner.
