Its is the inherent right the citizens of Illinois to have access to rental housing and jobs. The use of credit reports, credit reporting and cerdit reporting agencies such as Equifax, TransUnion and Experian is unethical and criminal and block citiizens from the basic tools that they need to survive. We call on Legilators in Illinois to pass emergency legislation prohibiting landlords, corporate property owners and all employers from utilizing credit histories in the decision making process for granting housing and/or hiring and termination.
