Are you a roleplayer who's nervously awaiting these horrific and much more complicated changes to the tumblr dashboard? Or maybe you've already been hit with the effects and finding that this update was a horrible decision? Tempted to switch sites? Put a stop to roleplaying all together due to the complicity of making one small post?

Then sign this petition.

Most of tumblr's population consists of roleplayers; there's hundreds, no, thousands of us out there. And this update is just asking for us all to leave.

Though the update is affecting roleplayers, it is also a threat to the rest of the blogging community as well.

With this update, it seems nearly impossible to upload photo sets; something that a majority of users use the website for. GIFs, edits, screencaps, you name it. It doesn't seem like it's possible to choose the order or style of your photosets anymore; what you upload is what you get.

This simply means that eventually, the things mentioned above will soon vanish from the site, leaving only old ones behind. And who does this affect?

The bloggers.

No longer is it just the roleplayers and edit makers who's creativity is being plugged, but now the bloggers - everyday bloggers - will be affected in this chain. They will no longer be able to view new material, no longer be able to reblog it. Sure, blogs are meant to be personalized, but, who's going to want a blog that's just pure text?

So; still think that this update is a fantastic idea? People are already speaking out about how they despise the new layout when it hasn't even had the chance to spread to everyone yet. They talk about how it staunches creativity and is difficult for writers and graphic editors to use.

And so I end with this:

Want to put a stop to this before the site begins to tear itself apart? People will get sick of the layout and if it's too difficult to use, most will probably just up and leave.
