We can do far better for Monteagle and especially the residents near this property. Would you want to live next to a truck stop, with lights, noise, and pollution at all hours of the day? Please be fair to Monteagle and her people. The truck stop is just a bad idea.

This is actually being proposed for my backyard (well side yard). The devastating decrease in our property value as well as the interference of our right to enjoy our home has had a terrible effect on our lives. Thank you all for your support. Love you all.

This will increase asthma conditions for local children and traffic dangers already apparent.
Prostitution is also a problem often associated with large truck stops.

I disagree with the whole idea. Noise pollution would be awful. It’s encroaching on our beautiful plateau and Monteagle and it’s just not necessary.

Another truck stop in Monteagle would irrevocably change the character of our cherished little historical town. Monteagle needs jobs, but we can do much better than a noisy, dangerous, highly polluting truck stop. Working together has improved the South Cumberland Plateau so much - let’s not turn backwards now!

Strongly oppose the Travel America truck stop. Will do nothing to enhance the beauty of Monteagle. Will contribute greatly to to congestion, pollution and poor air quality.
