Mr Ali is a great teacher, one that understands us students and who we can go to for advice . Being the 2013/14 head boy I saw different patterns with students. Mr Ali was a teacher that every single student respected and admired even the mis behaved lads would respect him . he had a special something where he could just relate to everyone and get them on board. Every holiday for hours on end he would hold revision sessions for us preparing us for fsmq, further and GCSE maths out of his own good will . it was done because he was one of the few teachers that actually cared and unlike others he never let his frustration kick in. Eg teachers say "I'm missing spending time with my children for you lot " -when students misbehaved . but not Mr Ali he never made it seem as if he was even the slightest bit uncomfortable that he had to come in and hold sessions for us . He's an inspiration for us young lads . there is much more to say but its impossible here. It's simple no Mr Ali,no Halifax high. The fact of the matter is he taught us he was super. We know no one is good enough to replace him. Ultimately the children and school are missing out . we all have siblings or extended family that attend the academy and want what's best for them. We know Mr Ali is the best. He brought about my love for maths otherwise I couldn't have cared less about the subject. These allegations made against him are totally false and I hope the academy sees sense and re appoints him to his rightful role. It's impossible for senior managemeMr Ali is a great teacher, one that understands us students and who we can go to for advice both educationally and privately . Mr Ali is a great teacher that students get high grades with. he can push students from a C grade to an A/A* - the fact that the halifax academy thinks he isnt caring enough in childrens education is complete and utter BS!

I strongly object to the allegations on Negligence places on Mr Ali. I distinctly remember the day that Mr Ali spoke to me about how much potential I have and how much I could achieve if I were to concentrate in class. This conversation led to me reflecting on my attitude to work, and I moved to the front of the class. I went on to achieve an A grade in mathematics, and finished my Maths GCSE early. This was a result of Mr Ali's initiative in putting in an early maths GCSE entry for GCSE maths. I was therefore free to concentrate on my other core GCSE's in the period of final GCSE examinations. Furthermore, Mr Ali kept those who had achieved their Maths Grade the first time round occupied by giving us a taster of A level maths- does this sound like the work of a negligent teacher? When GCSE maths students were attempting a question that on a topic that Mr Ali had just taught he would come to the back and explain the solution to the 4 students getting a taster of A level maths. We had additional A level maths study sessions during tutor time. As a result I achieved a C grade in AS maths, with a B in one module. After resting these during sixth form, still receiving assistance form Mr Ali by joining his A level Maths tuition group, I improved this to a B grade. Today I am in the position where I can call myself a Cambridge University Law graduate. My early Maths AS entry was a strong talking point in my admissions interview. The backbone behind this achievement was Mr Ali going the extra mile in his study of mathematics. Furthermore, casting my eye back to SATS examinations in year 9, I can point to a turning point in my education. I was a very average student at this period. Clever, but having not realised my potential, or really realising how much potential I had. Mr Ali had a spreadsheet, and at the beginning of every lesson he would ask each student whether they completed at least 2 hours of revision for Maths, Science and English. This exercise was as regul
