He is my daughter's teacher at the moment, she has always praised his hard work. So I don't believe these accusations are true about Mr Ali or Mr Akeel, It sounds like the head teacher is covering something up by sacking these teachers, I won't send my younger children to this school neither will my relatives in the future because this looks like pure racism towards these family men, who have alot of respect in the community.

Although many people believe this to be unethical discrimination, Halifax High is a majority Asian school and they have let the students finish at 1pm so the students could attend the Friday prayers and I, as a former student, have never, not once, seen any form of discrimination against any the students. HH has always respected any differences and valued them. Additionally, these allegations must be false as Mr. Ali is an excellent teacher and wouldn't do something like that

I was taught by Mr Ali and Mr akeel for 5 years in high school. They are both great teachers as well as great humans and are a credit to halifax high school. I think their dismissal is on the terms of total ethical discrimination.

Some of you sound like you need to go back to school. Mr Ali made hundreds of pounds per week tutoring us! One group after the other into the evening (do the maths!) He didn't do it for free! Remember the diluted to death Orange juice and biscuit we all took the piss out of! Teachers get paid for after school and holiday classes- ask one! You guys making out like he was sometime of holy man- even holy men go wrong!

I have known Mr Ali as a teacher at Halifax High school for many years who has taught my younger siblings for many years and I have met him at parent evenings ect He is a very genuine caring person so when I read these accusations made towards him I was very shocked. Mr Ali can't be caring enough when it comes to education and his students welfare he is a fantastic teacher , in the past he has helped his former students with their A level maths by offering home tutoring sessions. As far as I'm aware Mr Ali has taken students abroad before and their has never been a problem so I really don't understand what issues the school has with him.

Mr Ali was and still is the best teacher i have sern at halifax academy he had faith in me when no other teacher did. Mr ali is the one thst got me to sit My Maths GCSE with pride knowing ehatever grade i get i tried my best. these kind of teachers should be called role models not negligent.

Mr Ali is. Great teacher when I came to Halifax high in year 11 he tried his best to help me get caught up with my coursework other had already done in year 10. He is a good teacher and all his students he helped so far adore him. Halifax high needs a good teacher. GET MR ALI BACK!!

Just can't believe Mr Ali (Ronaldo) has been removed from HH. When I first found out I fell over. Luckily I didn't break my Roza. However, I believe Mr Ali is a nice man. He is a great maths teacher. He teached me Pythagoras and how to use the whiteboard. Thanks man it means alot x

Omg some people are so stupid. Being a good teacher does not make you innocent of all allegations! My uncles the nicest guy you could meet and the best solicitor in Halifax- he's still as bent as bent gets! Get a grip people!!!

I do not believe Mr Ali could do such thing. This accusation is utterly a lie and is said to tarnish his reputation. Mrs Nellis the headteacher is being very racist and this has to come to a stop as no one has the right to point fingers at a teacher who has worked all his life with dedication towards his students to make the work hard and achieve the best grades possible.
