I too am a Teton County resident and do not approve of the Tribal Trail extension. Use the tax dollars where they are really needed in this county.

Teton County resident, I do not support the Tribal Trail Connector road.

I think it's irresponsible to spend this amount of money on a connector road without first doing a comprehensive analysis of the impact to schools and the environment. I'm also want to see the actual impact vs projected of the new light at the Y intersection before making any more major changes to our infrastructure.

The benefits of this road are strongly outweighed by the negative impacts to the neighborhoods it will go through.

This is a beautiful part of countryside that doesn't need to be uprooted by a busy road. Keep it serene!

The proposed plan would put a highway through our back yard, drastically decreasing property values and endangering the lives of the children, adults, and pets that play and live there.

Waste of money and unsafe in and around a school district

The connector is a reckless hazard, a threat to our schools and children. I'm a Jackson, Wyoming resident.

While the connector has been previously approved, it is clear that it in an unnecessary build-out of the road network, and would have almost exclusively negative effects, and only small positive effects for a very few number of valley residents and visitors.

I am a Teton County Resident and live in Cottonwood Neighborhood. I do think that relief is needed to highway 22 BUT it is not appropriate to make South Park Road, High School Road and the western end of Boyles Road into the main commuter route with truck traffic as well. I have been thinking about it a lot to make sure I am just not crying NIMBY but I am very concerned about adding 13,000 vehicles daily due to the safety of the kids that commute to school, use the athletic amenities and play on the many playgrounds and fields that border these roads. There is no other place in Jackson where a 45 mph road goes through dense neighborhood and several school areas in Jackson. Please look for other alternatives and do not push the Tribal Trail Connector Road forward.

Dear County Commissioners and Town Council, I am very troubled that you are considering voting to adopt the Integrated Transportation Plan (ITP) at your 6 July Joint Information Meeting that includes fast-tracking the TTCR for budgeting and construction. I voted for commissioners based on the fact they had the community best interest and valley characterizes at the core of their beliefs. I am a local business owner, father, cyclist, wildlife viewer and my son attends Colter where we ride to schools, the fields work and run errands I fear for child safety if the proposed road carrying up to 13,000 cars per day floods the school zone that is already congested with too many cars on roads that already cannot handle I am extremely disappointed that you would consider passing this ITP with the TTCR based with no solid and independent safety analysis done for how this will affect the very dense school district and surrounding neighborhoods. I would encourage those that oppose, to stay strong on the issue of abandoning the bypass, and to focus on the improvement of the Y. In April Michael Wallwork, traffic engineer and roundabout expert spoke at a Country Commissioners Workshop, and explained how much a round about at the Y would decrease traffic back ups, improve safety and reduce emissions. Once a road is built at Tribal Trails, it will never be "undone", nor will the ever increasing population, and therefore traffic, be reduced, regardless of design or intent. At what gain? I am against the Tribal Trails Connector being built and in full support of this petition. We need to value all the family neighborhoods that we currently have in Jackson, because there are not that many. Reconstructing the Y should be the primary focus.

Please do NOT put the Tribal Trails connector in. It will destroy the peace in this small area of the county. Also there are too many schools in the area for all the traffic. Suggestions for Highway 89 please consider 1) Putting a traffic light at the South Park Loop Road intersection 2) building a turn lane for those turning West on to South Park Loop and 3) Slowing the speed limit down.
