We are asking to please reconsider the closure of these areas in question. Calculate how much money these off road events bring into these areas each year as they have for many years. Thank you.

This is insane. Do not develop the Jean area. We have already lost El Dorado valley and thousands of more acres to solar farms just for the power to be sold to California. If you wanted more houses you should have built less solar.

OHV companies and riding areas contribute to the area economy. Why are county officials and developers so secretive for the past year? Afraid of public scrutiny and ruin their "sweet deal" I protest this action, but wondering if the :deal" is already a forgone act...

Increased development at the expense of decreasing recreational land simply does not make sense.
Especially in the desert which would place higher burdens on water sourcing.

I grew up racing around the jean/primm area. the bureaucracy that is happening in southern nevada involving our public OHV lands is just asinine. they will only allow us to race on certain trails yet have no problem leveling 39000 acres to build homes? where is the environmental impact on that compared to me racing on 10ft wide trail? there is absolutely no reason to build homes south of vegas.

Stop taking away recreational areas. We will have no more areas to race or off-road if this keeps happening. Its called great outdoors and open land use for a reason.

Lake Mead already has issues supplying water to the area. Further development would only worsen the current problem.

It appears due process and transparency of public process is at risk here,.....no transfer without a comprehensive and complete review and public comment process.
