We the undersigned wish to prevent the unnecessary construction of a 125 foot tall, 14 foot wide telecommunication tower on the pristine mountaintop of Bald Mountain, Town of Greenwich, NY.
The applicant has failed to provide a complete and accurate study of all vertical assets within a 13 mile radius of the mountaintop. We are requesting an independent engineering study of all available vertical assets within a 13 mile radius. We further request that the independent engineering study include all existing viewsheds from all existing vertical assets. We are confident when the independent study is complete it will show the tower at the gateway to our community is unnecessary as multiple existing vertical assets already exist and no reason exists to build this requested tower.

The feedback from local residents continues to confirm that our primary concern regarding the landscape remains a shared priority. Work is currently underway to compile the necessary documentation for the planning board as we prepare our formal request for an independent engineering review.

The level of engagement regarding the proposed tower illustrates how deeply this community values the integrity of the mountain. This momentum confirms that our insistence on an independent engineering study is a necessary path forward.

Keep our skyline clear. Nobody wants to look at a giant metal eyesore when they drive into town. Find somewhere else to put it or just use the ones we already have.
I grew up in front if the mountain. I no longer live there, but the thought that anyone would want to interfere with that beautiful old mountain's natural beauty really saddens me.
A 125 foot tower is going to be hideous and we living here would be stuck viewing it daily
stop ruinning what little beautiful, untouched landscape we have in our little town.
We do not need another tower, and it affects our local character of rural appeal.
The proposed tower is not needed and would be an eyesore.
If the residents do not want it...then it should not be there...

Please no tower on Bald Mountain. I am a resident here, This tower is not needed, and would be an eyesore. Also residents here don't want this!
