As of November 1st 2016, Comcast the multi billion dollar company has started limiting each user to 1tb of free data each month. 1tb of data can easily be eating up in just a few weeks time. Once you have come close to the 50% usage marker you will start receiving a pop up via web browser stating so. I am like the many Comcast customers that did not receive any notice of a impending doom cap. I didn't even receive my first notice via web browser until I reached a 90% usage marker. I am currently over the 1tb usage marker and would be getting charged $10 dollars per 50gb, but Comcast is giving 2 free month of overage. That may sound great,but I will definitely hit the overage marker over and over again.

Comcast does however offer an unlimited data package that they can stack onto your current package at a extra $50.00 a month. I for one, do not have an extra $50.00 to spend on Comcast each month.

Something needs to be done about them capping us. We need to spread the word and get them stopped.
