Stop the subdivision of Continental Park properties into townhomes
As a resident of the Miami, FL Continental Park neighborhood (from
approx. SW 77th Ave. to SW 87th Ave. and SW 88th St. to SW 104th St.), or a nearby neighborhood, I am
strongly against an attempt by a developer to subdivide properties in our
neighborhood for higher density buildings and townhouses. Specifically, the
owners of properties at 8460 SW 92 St., 8490 SW 92 St., and 9260 SW 84 Ave.,
are seeking rezoning to allow them to subdivide these lots and build townhouses
where a single family home previously existed. This area is
highly sought after in large part due to its spacious lots and primarily single family homes.
