We, the undersigned, object to the proposed dump and scoop compost facility processing garbage, manure and dead animals located on Douglas Road in Whitinsville, MA just feet from: the Blackstone River,a large neighborhood, historic Fletcher House, the Cotton Mill, Old Forge and Town Hall, all within the newly created National Park. Such facilities have a history of creating odors, noise, unsightliness, violating clean air laws, and contaminating groundwater. We seek to safeguard quality of life in Northbridge and protect our natural resources.
