Unless we stand up and fight for the rights of all equine - like line some of our so-called political members up in a slaughterhouse and proceed to slaughter them, mistreatment of horses will never stop until the Lord's Second Coming - which cannot be soon enough for me!

Our government takes care of no wild animal. This should stop. Horses are slaughtered inhumaney and for money. Stop taking this action. The government hides what is really happening to these animals.

Well bred horses are no better saved from abuse and slaughter than Mustangs. All past , present and future have served mankind. Through war, in fields, entertainment, and pleasure. Mankind owes horses humane care ,freedom and rest. Love given to a horse is so mystically returned. None deserve to walk or be drug through a slaughter chute stabbed repeatedly or stunned only to be spared the cost of a bullet and hung by a leg to be mutilated in excruciating pain. Even as unborn foals are aborted from the bodies of their moms. Can compassion and empathy not overcome this horrid barbaric savagery !

I am so sick of this new administration that is purely profit driven with complete disregard to preserving or protecting critical history of the u.s.a. and these horses are a part of our history and should be protected not attacked. For a nation that insists on keeping in God we trust on its monies they take a dim view of the teachings of the Bible which made man caretakers and protectors of His creations. It even states so in the very first book of Genesis shortly after He created them. For the rest of us we need to stand up against this total destruction not only of our wild horses which are few in number in comparison but also of the cheap land grab of our national parks and monuments. And things like giving Alaska permission to destroy all the wolves and bears even going inside the dens to kill the cubs and pups. These animals are here for a reason and man came in and has already destroyed and taken their homes given their food and water sources over to cattle for profit and votes. Enough is enough. STOP ATTACKING THE FEW REMAINING WILD HORSES.

This is an outrage!!! Slaughtering millions of healthy animals is downright evil and a push to get these animals protected is a must!! Please contact your state senators and representatives letting them know you oppose this heinous Amendment and to vote on alternatives to saving this piece of our American West.

This amendment is outrageous! These horses are supposed to have federal protection. Why are they being removed from public lands? So the cattle industry can graze their cattle on our public lands for pennies ahead. The cattle should be rounded up and removed and the wildlife restored and left alone! I object to this evil use of my tax dollars.

Wild horses are on public lands. Public lands belong to the horses and the public. And 80% of the public/Americans/taxpayers are against horse slaughter, wild or tame!!!

It is the ranchers over grazing cattle that is destroying wild range lands, not the wild animals. Range land that is destroyed is from Humans, not animals. I want my wild horses and burros to be left alolne, and the cattle removed from the wild lands.

It is disgusting what they are doing to the wild horses/burros. The BLM was entrusted with this precious natural resource and all they do is emergency round ups by helicopter mostly. Instead of leaving the horses where they belong. It is disgusting. I am ashamed of this country.
