The smell is horrendous, this started last night and I’ve got up this morning and my whole house smells like someone crappped 3 day old curry on my kitchen floor despite all doors and windows being closed. It makes me feel sick!!

Some mornings its overpowering and then you have to drive through it to go to work. Appalling.

I smell it from my home and I have to go past it to go to work: turning off my much needed heater because of the wrenching sickening sweet smell that engulfs my car! I’ve never smelt this kind of stench and I lived in London for 20 years! Nowhere else that I have been in this beautiful countryside of ours, has there been even a whiff of industrial fumes filling the air like we locals have to endure. I’m so glad I have found this petition. Some big changes clearly need to happen!

If people are feeling unwell and GPs are seeing a spike in Asthma cases which they have reported to EA then EA must act, investigate and get the site closed. Residents should be able to live in a clean air environment. I have been past the site on numerous occasions in the summer and feel very sorry for the local residents.

From Danesholme Estate, the stench is terrible, when entering the town from the A6003 my family always state "welcome to Corby" owing to the stench

Enough is enough when the local council and the Environment Agency both a governmental drain cannot be bothered to do what is expected of them to support local issues then the efforts of the local willing community trying to improve on a major discomfort and questionable health threat deserves 100% support. This odour problem has been contested and complained about for several years and can only get worse without action so residence in the affected areas get signing for your own benefits, comfort and health. There are odour controls to be adhered to within environmental standards we need these enforced.

Absolutely disgusting stench, the threat to public health from the toxicity of landfill is there for anyone to research! Clean it up or close it down...the compromise isn't working!!!
