Smithtown XC made me who I am today. Without this family I would be lost and still looking for myself. Everyday I just counted down the minutes until practice and it will never have been the same without the entire family. Please let future generations experience the same life changing experience I did.

Being an XC member for 4 years from 08 to 12. I wouldn't have it any other way then one team. Why pit east and west agenist each other their is all ready enough divide among the schools. Please email me will take this all the way to the top if we have to. I'm not letting this split happen.

Being a former and proud member of the Smithtown Cross Country Team, I hope to see the two schools remain united under one team. I've never been apart of a stronger team than Smithtown XC, and I wish to see that strength continue and grow through years to come.

Although not a member of the team itself, I understand the bond these girls share in being on this combined team. Breaking them up would be really heartbreaking, as I understand these girls love each other like family-I have the same type of bond with those girls who continue with track. I believe that everyone should do everything possible to #stopthesplit

this is not okay. runners develop better when they learn from each other from boths groups together and are treated equally. I've personally improved so much from the encouragement and help for my male friends on my team and i would never wanna be split from them.

My school has never had an integrated team. My friend loves running and if her team gets split up she will be devastated! I hope this petition goes through!

I just think we shouldn't split the team, especially with how successful we've been in the the past and present
