Encaging a life that should be free and happy for the sake of entertainment and profit is unacceptable, and if you use "education of these wildlifes" as an excuse then there is no other way for to learn the beauty of wildlife than to observe in its most raw form which is, IN THE WILD! Exactly what National Geographic is all about for years now. There is no education of wild life by having a wild animal in a cage confined by rules and tricks. ZOOS and MARINE THEME PARKS/OCEAN PARKS are nothing but businesses promoting the violation of animal rights and their rights to have a free and stable life. WE DO NOT WANT SM CEBU MARINE THEME PARK! THE ONLY THING WE WANT WITH IT IS FOR IT TO CANCELLED.

Please don't put those animals to captivity! We are traveling to Philippines all the way from Germany almost every year to see those animals in the WILD, not in captivity. It would break our heart! We experienced it once in Subic Bay, dove with the dolphin and the fake orca there. It was the worst! We will never do it again and we would never go to Oslop or any place else where wild animals have been domesticated. But we spend a lot of money for trips on safari boats to Tubataha or other places, where animals are been protected. Keep it that way, it will support tourism in Philippines a lot more and on the long run it will pay of. Thank you!

if we really want to see these animals, then we should be the ones visiting them in their homes. take this. if we want to see a friend or someone we know, we don't force them to come to us. we go to them.

I disagree to the construction because this will just give destruction.

Cebu has one of the most abundant marine life! All you have to do is explore it. Rent a boat and swim with them!

People are increasingly realizing the horrors of keeping marine animals captive for human entertainment. This industry should be phasing out, not building new prisons.

Want to see marine life in Cebu? rent an out-rigger boat, and snorkel to your heart's content by the neighboring islands. That's waaay better than walking through aisles and glass cages. Income-generating? for the city or for the businessmen and politicians behind this plot? No, Thank you.

Please, you have to understand that not everything is a commodity, not everything is a source of your income. While, yes, you may say that this is for the people's enlightenment, do you even think about the next generation of people who might not even be able to see these species firsthand in the future? Or how the displacement of these species will disturb the ecosystem? Viewing them in theme parks may be nice, but these species thriving in their natural habitats is much better. I'm pretty sure that people would appreciate that these species are being left in their natural habitats to propagate rather than have them be easily witnessed only to end up being endangered or extinct later on.
