Look at how this country maintains its parks and recreational facilities. Do you think that it will be any different with the sea animals? No animal should be subjected to captivity especially if the people who take them from the wild don't know how to properly treat and care for them. It will always be "budgets budgets budgets" with these big corporations.

Build research centers and rescue centers instead of marine theme park. You wouldn't like it if people caged you and used you for entertainment so why do we do it to these wonderful creatures that help our ecosystem? We're already destroying their habitats as it is; we don't need to capture and enslave them too.

Creatures of the sea belong to the sea and nowhere else. If we want to see them, we should see them in their natural habitat. They don't deserve to be just objects of our viewing pleasure.

They should build an aquarium featuring our tropical wildlife. Culture and science. Not another crass theme park. Theyre closing sea world in the states and now theyre planning on building one here?

We don't need one, we have the coral reefs at our doorsteps. Unlike Manila, we are close to our sea and reefs.

I am against the construction of this "entertainment" facility. Look what happened to the Manila Ocean Park? The marine creatures there are stressed, improperly fed, and injured. Cebu Ocean Park will be no different especially because the government does not care about protecting the marine ecosystem of the city, even the province. So before this monstrosity even begins, WE MUST PUT AN END TO IT!
