Without protection under hunting regulations the gray wolves are susceptible to being over hunted. Because the wolves are not yet capable of maintaining a healthy population without human intervention, the wolves are at risk of endangerment or even extinction. In order to protect these majestic animals from becoming wiped off the map by human negligence the gray wolves needs to be protected through strict hunting regulations, and should not be hunted as open season. We, the undersigned, want The Idaho Department of Fish and Game to remove the Gray Wolf from the list of Big Game that are concidered open season, and instate strictor regulations for hunting wolves.
