There isn't even a decent ATM in GL. Keeping the place clean, hospital, ISP, stable power supply, decent ATM, waste management, proper urban planning, the minimum wage of the people there can barely keep up with the cost of living as everything else is going up, clean and efficient water supply, etc...

There are plenty of chances to benefit financially in other manners! Nature's beauty is constantly destroyed and altered by humans. Please do not touch this beauty. Do not taint the experiences that people from all over the world seek to gain by visiting such wonderful places in the world. People will visit nonetheless, it is unnecessary to taint the island with an airport!

Its a pitty how natural and beautiful places like this are destroyed everyday because of development. Its already happening although its not that easy to get there. Imagine if we made them an international airport. Please, please, try to protect your paradise

The government's priority should be the Filipinos who live on this island, not those who will visit nor the foreigners looking for another playground. The several billion pesos for an airport will go a long way in providing for the needs of the islanders.
