For their midterm project, students in the SST biotech class where told to pick a project to study. Some have chosen to conduct reasearch that involves buying mice from local pet stores and testing on them. Although not illegal, this practice is highly frowned upon and extremely harmful to the animal. This midterm project is being entered in a state wide science fair, we at New Hampshire Animal Cruelty Investigations are petitioning the school to not allow these few students test on the mice. It is a inhumane practice that has no purpose in a high school science fair.
