This plan is too big, and makes too large of an impact immediately adjacent to sensitive wildlife areas.

Water is key. The site cannot use wells because of the Pall/Gelman contamination, and hooking up to city water would use up Scio's water hookup allotment that may be needed for existing properties as the dioxane plumes move to areas that do not have access to municipal water. The private sewage treatment plant )required since the site is not the sewer district) would be too risky fiscally and environmentally.

it is important to keep in mind that the cost of sprawl - infrastructure and its upkeep for example - will be carried by citizens through tax dollars, not by the developers who will make their money and then move on to the next opportunity

Good Luck with Scio Twp. I grew up there and the township board and planning seems Hell Bent on making Scio Twp. look like Troy, regardless of what their master plan may say.

Having 174 houses directly next to saginaw woods will diminish the research and ecological opportunities of this forest. Furthermore having an isolated waste system for this development is simply asking for trouble.

I support this well written presentation of the many objections to this proposed high density development.

there is enough housing already in the Ann Arbor area, new housing will only hurt the economy.

Do we really need such a large development in this community. The impact on the environment is extremely negative. Has anyone looked at the impact on the schools, fire and police departments, and other city services?

I live at 535 Little Lake Drive, and would be directly affected by this development. It would destroy a lot of beautiful woodlands and wetlands that is home to a lot of wildlife.

I have been enjoying Saginaw Woods for many years and it is one of the great mesic forests of this part of Michigan. It abounds in natural features such as fauna and flora that will be threatened by the proposed PUD. The tranquil experience of visiting this natural area will be seriously marred by the close proximity to houses, noise, people, dogs, cats that are incompatible with this part of the green zone near to Ann Arbor.
