This unscrupulous attempt along with any good rational decision is lacking and can’t be understood by this relentless selfish “current" incompetent rejected governance that still lingers to power due to the expired majority vote. Moreover the sale of the taxpayers assist (Aer Lingus ltd) to fully privatize this semi state airline to foreign takeover will deter connectivity and commerce and is transparent that the ‘cheap’ sale of this successful 79 year old brand is a "fire sale during a deflationary crisis" How can this resourceful state assist be sold off so easily, so cheaply? so quickly? Furthermore clearly not in the interests of the sovereign state of Ireland and its people. Rather this government’s duplicitous attempt to favor the Troika in its privatization orders, let’s be clear on that. Vital regular business links between Dublin and London, therefore (Internationally) will be compromised and potentially lost. Ireland is a struggling, developing, Peripheral Island requiring and relying on this extremely vital link via London, therefore opening the world of Irish business with consistent reliable flights to London Heathrow. This government got its commands from Troika to sell Aer Lingus and that’s what this governments policy in pure subterfuge will endeavor to enact. Rather we see this governess masquerading on the issue to cloak their true intentions of a quick sale to support, aspire their campaign. We have to lobby this sale, not as employees but for the good of this country and its future to effectually link the world around us without compromise. We cant rely on capitalism to provide for state interests. Jobs will be lost, middle management, ground staff, Cork, Shannon bases in jeopardy and decreased expansion. We need to lobby this bid and government officials.holding Enda Kenny accountable from this disastrous sale of OUR shares. http://www.tourismireland.com/.../organisa.../the-board.aspx Christoph Mueller has many shares in Aer Lingus and is off to South East Asia where he can claim all his tax returns on his shares. this sale is a joke planned well in advance of the pension resolution at Aer Lingus expense.the Aer Lingus CAO is leaving earlier to the Far East earlier than predicted and stated to avoid the tax deadline and can get an excellent price for his shares tax free.This is corruption and under the Companies Act, 1990 Section 30 makes insider trading an offense under Irish and European Law.http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/19…/…/act/pub/0033/index.html this allegedly monopoly is unacceptable and the court of law must investigate this matter.Furthermore I was asked an interesting question after posting my point of view, as follows: "Should it be kept solely to keep a few over paid employees in a soft job?" my response was: Address your interesting question if I may, Since 2008 there's been numerous cuts across the entire state due to the 'economic decline' i.e. government forced 'Austerity' . Seven years surpassed and continued cuts relentlessly been undertaken. Reduced pensions, increased retiring ages, privatization, enforced by Government/Troika upon middle class earners whom quite frankly don't get paid enough for the labor they contribute overall either professional/Non-professional. Look at the "Central Statistics Office" approx 21,400 immigrating Ireland from April 2014, not to mention those whom migrate for employment. I think they would say the same respectfully? We have highly educated people such-as Nurses, Doctors and other professionals, in the former are expected to work for as little as EUR: 21:000 before tax working 12 hours and 20 min shift-work .In the latter Doctors are immigrating offering their highly respected skills abroad.
