For anyone working in the construction industry there is one thing that everybody dreads, renewing the safe pass,my safe pass expires next year and it will be my fourth time doing it in this country, ( once in Australia), five times suffering the same shite on two different continents, give up your Saturday and pay what I believe now is close to 200 quid because of covid 19, for someone to patronise you for 8 hours.
I'm all for safety but I think that if your someone who has worked on sites for more than eight years, it isn't necessary to waste your time and money on this scam, which is what it is, a money racket. You don't do your driving test every 4 years, do ya!??
A refresher course would be much better, an online refresher course would be even better, there are lots of ways Solas could do it without riding us up the ass.
But things will never change if you don't do something about it, so you feel the same sign the the petition and share the post.
