They have no right to do Aaliyah story without her family blessing, and as many newcomer actress to play Aaliyah they get a woman non- African decent,this is not right

I'm just disappointed bc I know how many black girls actually wanted and prob deserved this part... The fact that she is not black is weird to me only bc they try to get as close to the person physically and then mentally as possible... How would the Hispanic community react if Halle berry played Selena?! Or if Angela basset played Dorthy dandridge? My point is although they r good actresses, they didn't fit the part.. I'm a huge fan of Aaliyah but this is annoying

Please help stop this. Aaliyah's Mom & Brother didn't have a say so in making this movie and they are the ones that knows Aaliyah the best!!! also Missy Elliott & Timbaland helped with a lot of her work and they aren't a part of this project either . please help stop it!!!!

Hopefully those with lives genetically linked to Aaliyah's, those life forms so closely in lineage and therefore most who or what she is or was , will have their will.
