i can not support this movie. I dont take Aaliyah as a joke and i dont want the entertainment world to add things to this movie just for ratings.

As a detroit native and by having so many close ties to aaliyah through my older cousin and friends who all went to hs with aaliyah, having an uncle who worked closely with her in hs and by knowing people who know and loved her i find.it totally disrespectful to go against her family's wish to do this movie. Let her be great legends cant be duplicated no offense to zendaya cuz i love her too, i even see all the resemblances personality /stylewise she has the same aura and charisma but its just sad how special she was and thats what hurts those who knew her the most, she truly was one in a million so they may look like her but her spirit can never be replicated by anyone. Although i am a huuuge fan and would like. to be reminded of who we lost i just say let her live on thru her own legacy and i wish zee the best with setting her own. i feel so bad they are mourning and no remorse is given

Zendaya should back away from the foolishness. Without someone to play her the show will either end or be postponed---meaning the family/friends/fans against this will have enough time to stop it completely.
