zendaya is the wrong person to play zendaya and it's an insult to zendaya as well as her family to make this movie without their consent.

Aaliyah's family and friends are priority in such case. Their wishes shall be respected along with the legacy of such an amazingly talented woman.

If the movie is to come to fruition, I would much rather see a different actress portray Aaliyah. Maybe Keshia Chante.

Not acceptable , when the family says it's ok to have a movie then it's fine . Till then nothing should be happening . It's not ok

Tyhis star looks nothing like Aaliyah. Aaliyah was black and the family says no!

Aaliyah was a Black woman and embraced it. She inspired so many little black girls growing up in the 90's and early 00's. So it's a slap in the face, that they are replacing us with women who has no idea what it is to be Black not mixed raced. Plus her family don't approve, so how can the story be accurate? Her brother Rashad was in most her videos and around most of her career. And gets no say so and no respect. Her uncle is a snake like R.Kelly and others that tried to taint Queen Aaliyah.
