Why make a biopic if the family has not given their consent? Aaliyah was a well respected woman and so respect shall be shown to her and her family. It's just so wrong. RIP babygirl.

1.) NO WENDY, all she sets out to do is sling mud and slander, and that's something Babygirl does not deserve, especially since she isn't here to defend herself. Secondly, this new girl, really who is she? She looks even less like Aaliyah than Zendaya. I swear black people can't have anything, y'all just have to take Babygirl from us. And lastly, just leave the girl's legacy alone! The family is not for it!

im just so mad because they are making this movie about our baby girl and didnt even get the family approval like who does that and why wouldn't they put our baby girl's mother in the damn movie who's going to play aaliyah's mother the only person who's knows how to play baby girl's mom is her mother her self and they need to put aaliyah's brother in the movie too because baby girl and her brother was so close and i know damn well they're not going to have someone else play baby girl's brother because no one can play her brother BUT RASHAD and me being #TEAM AALIYAH we didnt even get the say so about them making the movie about our baby girl and that girl from disney channel dont need to play baby girl because she do nt look nothing like her she's to light and our baby girl is darker than her and THEY NEED TO GET PERMISSION FROM THE FAMILY FIRST! It's hard to see the world we live in it's sad and very selfish although some of this drama occur weeks ago I still wanna speak on it because it's irritating me to see how ppl don't care . If I hear one more interview about how zendaya can dance like her and song I'm scream!!!! It's sad to know that's all ppl care about I felt personality aaliyah is more than just an artist she's a person and not once have I heard ppl say can zendaya pull her off personality wise all I hear is oh she can dance oh she can sing . Y'all can't even respect a deceased person at all feeling that this women was all about just singing and dancing and she wasn't she was a woman who had feelings who had interest she was humble she had a very positive vibe about her . And it hurts to see ppl not giving a care in the world about her and her family I don't what they going through but I know it's hurts to lose someone you really cared about .as fans we need to understand stuff like that yeah she is somebody we admired yeah she somebody we love and we wanna see her legacy but family comes first I could never go against her family wishes for my own benefit cause what I wanna see . Her passing hurt her family and they trying their best to deal with it and they can't do that seeing little girls trying to be this woman especially not evening knowing who she is . And it's sadden seeing what this world has come too . My respect goes to her family completely because. Their the reason why Aaliyah was who she was with the help of her family supporting her and being there for her and seeing a little girl who thinks because she inspired by her that it was okay to make a move like that is sadden . Cause if you were really inspired by Aaliyah and loved this person you would know that her mother and brother are still mourning and hurting from her lost .

I would love for there to be an Aaliyah movie, but not without the concent of her family.

Although I would love for there to be a movie about Aaliyah, if its not with the concent of her family I dont want it to happen.

This movie should not be in the making! You would think people would respect the wishes of Ms. Diane and Rashad, the people closest to Aaliyah, but I guess people have no respect whatsoever. I really hope this movie gets shut down! Besides, Aaliyah is ready to important and influential to only have a small Lifetime movie. Baby Girl deserves waaayyyy better than this!
