I wrote that comment. And I wrote it before it got a lot of signatures and at the time, I wrote that so anyone FOR the movie would see it since this petition wasn't popular at the time. I am not for the making of the film, I have been one of the biggest people fighting it on Twitter. Thank you

It's completely disrespectful to go against the wishes of Aaliyah's mother Diane and brother Rashad by proceeding in making a movie about their daughter and sister. Aaliyah and her family were/are very private people and her personal life should stay exactly that. Her legacy should not be tarnished by some cheap low budget film full of lies.
