I am appalled that this extension is still being considered. Create jobs and improve traffic flow by improving the roads we already have.

Grayslake brings truck terminals into the area creating noise, air, water and traffic pollution. Extending 53 will only facilitate a trucking nightmare.

In addition to the numerous issues already outlined, the Rt.53 extension would destroy the ambiance and quality of life that we came for in Lake County. I have always admired the wisdom of previous Lake County members in preserving the lands allowing habitat for native wildlife and humans , something we all need.
