I assume Rogers will compensate homeowners in the area for lost real estate value? Will HRM also roll back the excessive property tax as compensation for lack of investment into safeguarding its residents from violations of residential zoning? stagnant sales of real estate in the area are an indicator prospective home owners are looking elsewhere from what is otherwise a prime location. One look at sales trends from before and after the cell tower announcement clearly indicted this is a factor.

With spider lake being the home of my immediate and extended family and friends I strongly propose Roger's Communication reconsider where they place their cell towers. There's is no reasonable excuse to be placing a cell tower this close to residential family homes and real estate.

The drop in property values is alarming and the fact that that the leading authority on health the WHO has looked at the studies to date and "Based largely on these data, IARC has classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B), a category used when a causal association is considered credible, but when chance, bias or confounding cannot be ruled out with reasonable confidence." There should be no question, if there is an alternate site not near families, particularly children, the alternate site should be used.
