The sad fact is that the more we rely and dam near worship whatever new technological device, the less we concentrate on enjoying what is real and what’s worth actually getting excited about. Driverless cars???? Are you kidding me? So after the misuse and abuse of our brilliant advancements are directly causing massive environmental problems that are negatively harming people around the globe, the nuclear threat (another device ) has developed into a dangerous problem, over use of machines to “ get more “ from the earth are weakening the very global life support we need to breath ........ now want to trust cars to drive you around, when driving a car is definitely as dangerous as operating a Bazzooka weapon. This is taking convenience to the ludicrous extreme. Car companies pushing this are greedy sickos!

Once we are no longer in control of our own transportation, it will be one small easy step for a few within society to tell us where we can and cannot go and when we can do it (ex. The Ministry of Freedom has deemed camping, hunting, fishing, etc. to be destructive to the collective and bad for the environment so all amerikans must turn in their old vehicles and will no longer be allowed to participate in these unproductive activities). America was made great by empowering the individual not the collective. The money waisted on self-driving technology would be better spent on curing cancer, diabetes, etc.

I can't believe there are so few signatures on here. There are so many things wrong with the way technology is going. Tech is supposed to aid us, not replace us. The problem is that all these companies with seemingly limitless funding can do pretty much what they want because money talks.

So basically we're all being punished because of SOME folks' insatiable desire to "hit people up" on social media? I'd rather walk than to be forced to trust my life to a smartphone on wheels. Whatever it takes to stop Google and all of the other tech companies out there, I'm all in.

I fear that if they make cars self-driven widespread they will ban manual driving. I personally prefer to drive manually than have a computer drive, I am not too comfortable with having a computer drive, my problem with having a computer drive is computer can glitch or be hacked into crashing high speed into a brick wall for example. I also fear that if they ban manual driving classic cars such as a 1957 Ford Fairlane will also be banned destroying the classic car collecting hobby (what use is it if you can't show it off), self-driving cars would also effect people who enjoy cruising. Most importantly, it could also destroy driving based jobs such as cabbing, and trucking (my big sister is effected, which means she'll be homeless). It's just a bad idea all around, when will it be a good idea? It will never be a good idea. This doesn't just apply to google, it applies to Tesla, uber, and whatever other companies who say "this will be big." Hopefully self-driven cars die out.

I am starting to drive at 20 years old. I have saw that there is going to be a self-driving car, by (you guessed it) Google. We need to show them that there is no need to have a computer drive us around and take away the freedom of driving the countryside.

Recently saw an article about personal pleasure "sex bots" for females. This is highly disturbing in all morale senses. "Has technology gone too far?" is often a funny thing to throw around in a lot of today's posts of weird things - But I really assure you, this phrase is all but too serious this time.

If we sign this petition today, about 20,000 kinds of jobs will be saved from the hands of Google. Everyone I have talked to thinks that it would not work because it is just opinion, but the ones creating the robots are still human and opinion on what they think on the whole thing matters more than any technology can handle.
No more robots
