The City of Temple Terrace has tentative plans to construct a golf cart bridge across the river at Whiteway. Construction of this bridge will negatively impact the river, impede boat navigation, allow feral pigs into our neighborhoods and create an escape route for thieves and others with bad intentions. say no to this project by signing below.

The scale of this response has forced the planning commission to move our formal inquiry to the top of the agenda. I am currently preparing the documentation for a meeting with the city engineer to address our specific concerns regarding the proposed bridge site.

A bridge was a bad idea when Florida College proposed one years ago. Nothing has changed. Bad idea. How would we access it as there is a gate and fence to get through before you could get close?
I walk in that greenspace and cannot see any reason for the bridge. Out tax money could be better spent to serve the Temple Terrace taxpayers.
I’m sure there are much better uses for our tax dollars than a bridge for golf carts. I also believe that this bridge will prohibit local water crafts from there destinations, and create access to people with with bad intentions.
Leave the river and its banks alone. We already have 3 large bridges across the river at Fletcher, Fowler, and Busch(Bullard) The proposed new bridge would devalue the area homes and decrease the serenity of the area. And for what?
Who put this on the"needs" list Having been a legal resident of TT since Dec 1945, I oppose this idea - is this intended as another give away of tax dollars for the golfing members of the private TT Country Club

No need for another bridge across the river. It would only cause trash thrown into the river, traffic noise, etc., affecting the nearby neighbors and the wildlife. I will vote against any Council member who supports this bridge.
