A request to rezone this area (between Sea Palms West and Orange Hall and directly in front of Musgrove Place) from one-family residential to general residential has been made. A rezoning public hearing will be held on January 20, 2015. Making this property general residential opens this up for condominiums and townhouses to be built in this small area. This can potentially create hazardous and congested traffic and also an unsafe traffic environment that is close to many established residential areas. This is also too close to a public elementary school. We do not need this here! Please support us in blocking this rezoning effort!
The feedback I have received from residents highlights a shared concern regarding the potential escalation of traffic near our elementary school. I am currently organizing the documentation necessary to present these valid objections to the zoning board.

The growth of this petition shows that our community recognizes the serious implications of the proposed rezoning for our neighborhood. This momentum provides a strong foundation as we prepare to present our concerns to the officials at the upcoming hearing.

It is already hars enough to turn left off of South Harrington in the early a.m. & late afternoon without adding additional traffic to this congested area.

I am against the rezoning of ZM2976 Tidal Shores for safety concerns created by the increase population for the infra structure currently in place

I moved to this part of the Island due to less traffic 15 years ago. I also have very young children and I live close to the road where they plan to build this subdivision/housing. I am worried that my children will be at risk of injury and that the entrance will impede the flow of traffic. Save our children and save our Island!
