We need your support in opposition of the rezoning the property at 4090 Jeffery Rd. for the following reasons.

• The rezoning for this project harms the character of the neighborhood.
• It is an unprecedented rezoning.
• Negative impact on the residential neighbors’ quality of life.
• Noise pollution.
• This property’s current infrequent “neighbor noise” will change to continual “frequent disruptive noise.”
• Expanding to 12 volleyball courts will host very large adult leagues and tournaments that will disrupt our quiet neighborhood.
• Loss of property value.
• Increased and constant traffic.
• Overflow parking complications.
• A bar in a residential area sets an unwelcome precedent.
• Large crowds, trespassing, littering, vandalism, home security and impaired drivers.
• Too much development for the size of the lot.

There is an upcoming Planning Board Meeting on June 15th at 7:00 pm, in Room 7B of Hamburg Town Hall, and we need to have as many supporters as possible in attendance. The board needs to see the community cares and opposes this change to stop this rezoning. Help us preserve our neighborhood.
