We are trying to put a stop to a proposed extension on the already huge opencast mine at Nnant Llesg, if it were to go ahead a lot of peoples lives would be ruined, the beautiful Rhaslas Pond will be destroyed as well as the habitat of more than 50 different species of birds, including Lapwings, Skylarks, and Red Kites,also Ospreys have recently been spotted around the area. The grasslands and wetlands have been untouched for over a 1000 years. This is home for many animals, sheep, horses, ponies, cows, otters, badgers, newts, frogs toads, where are they going to go?
