When is enough, enough. Way too much quarry development going on in this area!

We need to protect our lakes and our cottage country. Quarrys add undue stress on roads, neighbourhoods and pose a great threat to cyclists. I appose this 100%. Lisa

This will have a negative impact on Bobcaygeon & tourism not to mention the wear & tear on our roads & the noise!!! The trucks should not travel through towns...PERIOD!

The moment that I entered into Bobcaygeon for the first time, I knew that I'd call this place 'home'. The atmosphere and ambiance took my breath away and I've been here now for over 10 years. If the quarry opens, I will sadly leave what I had considered 'the place that I would spend the rest of my life in'.

We don't need this quarry, what we need to do is to protect our homes and environment from pollution and noise. We live in a beautiful village, lets keep it that way.

Protect us, our roads, our land, we already have enough quarries open and running in the area. Be mindful of our children's future.

These people don't care about anything except their wallets .... Including the City of Kawatha Lakes . they could stop it if they wanted to.

I do not want this quarry put in. This will increase traffic in front of our property which is located on one of the roads going to be used for transportation. We have enough traffic going at 100km which is over the limit already!!

I closed a quarry that operated on my property just off the 507. It was started as a "friendly" tiny operation. Unfortunately, the result was uncontrolled clear cutting, permanent damage to the landscape, and years of legal entanglements to remove the operators. The scraping, banging, crashing, and grinding is constant. The most annoying is the incessant piercing sounds of the backup alarms on the equipment. I think its time for a moratorium on the development of quarries and am opposed to the amendment of the official plan.

It is sad that its taking a full fight to try and make the point that is a very bad idea that will damage the existence of our lives, wildlife, water, land, trees, and roads! This application should have been thrown out the minute it was filed. Instead, we have people approving this all for money with no regard for the damages it will impose on all of our futures here in Bobcaygeon and surrounding areas!! STOP THE QUARRY!!
