The TAX as is, is already too much of a burden on us Kenyans! Stop the increase and reduce it even further. Then increase the NSSF from 200 to 1200 for this is what can help in time of retirement

I object the tax increases which are necessitated by high public wage bill, wastage and corruption. Instead the government should control its expenditure.

We, Kenyans, had many economic problems even before the onset of Covid-19- e.g. high cost of basic food commodities, basic utilities like electricity, rent and uncontrolled levels of unemployment occasionally mainly by runaway corruption. This state of affairs has been worsened by the effects of Covid and is likely to get even worse. Wananchi need to be cushioned by government not to be punished through increased taxation.

We the low income earners are already over stretched. Due to COVID pandemic we are on pay cuts and unpaid leave adding more taxation on our payslips is over burdening us. Let the government explore other options. Taxes are too many.

If we can propose to increase government in BBI, surely we do not need to suffocate citizens with more taxes
