It's ideas like this that convinced the terrorist to murder police officers at the US Capitol on January 6th. Stop this unChristian insanity.

If this "bible" goes to press it will signal the final day I will ever consider a book bearing Zondervan's name.
As tragic as 9/11 was there is no place to wrap the message of Christ in the trappings of national imagery and ideology.

It is profoundly disturbing to see nationalism so deeply entwined with Christianity. I am inlikely to purchase from Zondervan in future if this goes ahead

Please reconsider this effort. As well intentioned as it might be, this could lead to more division and controversy than necessary. I believe this project to be culturally tone deaf and theologically concerning.
