Don't. Just don't. Worked for 15+ years for American Bible Society. This is pure crap. I will personally use every channel to share how badly Zondervan is missing the living word of God, cutting to the heart and transforming us far beyond nation-worship. Get it right! Read the Bible you're peddling. Say NO to White Christian Amerikan Nationalism

Can't imagine support Lee greenwood was thinking when he tried to publish this book. It is not a bible. We have one bible. I'm sure the Lord would not appreciate the selling of this book. Please do not print it.

As someone who has published two books with Zondervan, I’m a big fan of Zondervan. If this bible is published, my attitude will certainly change. I know that I speak for many other theologians in making this point.

Nations rise and fall but the Word of God stands forever. God bless the whole world and replace our borders with bridges

Hugh, thanks for stopping by. I'm assuming by the content of the comment that you are Hugh Kirkpatrick, the individual behind the God Bless the USA Bible. When I started the petition, and when others took action in connection with a letter to Zondervan/HarperCollins, the intent was to urge a fine Christian publisher not to be connected with this project. The rationale was that a Bible that includes the five documents of the civil religion of the US, would add fuel to the heresy of Christian nationalism and its byproducts of racism, xenophobia, and Islamophobia. Thankfully, Zondervan made a wise decision and stepped away from this project. I knew when I began this petition that there was no way to stop the Bible from being produced, but we were successful in severing its connection to Zondervan at least. Hope you are doing well. The God Bless the USA Bible is still on track and will be shared on TV soon. They will ship in September. All made in the USA. It will be KJV instead of NIV. Nothing will ge added or deleted from the KJV translation. Simply 5 documents in the back, behind the Bible. Kind of like a concordance. Blessings to you all.

Please reconsider your decision not to publish the God Bless the USA Bible. This is America. The Bible is offensive to some other religions, but the issue is that this country was built on a biblical principles and scripture. This is something that should be proclaimed and not down played.
