Based on all the research that I have done - the substation 345kV is much larger than the 230kV station currently on Gun Club - to the west of Tollgate. Having 3 substations and more powerlines along a community is too much for any ONE community. If you economically are going to continue to use this power line path through Tollgate because it is cheaper - than you cannot in good conscious not take into account the request of the community which is going to feel the largest impacts of this both with the EMF readings, but the value of our property, the visual views many of us bought into this community for. Looking at what Thorton's design and requirements should be the minimum that is done at this time. Below is the website for Thorton's substation design:

Initial mailings indicated alternative locations for Xcel's mega substation (further north and east of proposed site) and away from current residential housing development. Their current plans are directly within the Tollgate Housing community

Take your power lines somewhere else. No need for them to go through a neighborhood or across the street from a school.

These power lines were set when there wasn't any residential development.
Their high voltage is hazardous to residents in the certain radious.
Please get rid of them and bury the lines under ground.

Don't ruin our communities more than you have. Either put underground or go out along reservoir. Stop paying you linemen so much overtime while they sit home and put the money where it would help the customers.

I agree to all stipulations in his petition and request that the officials voted to govern the people of Colorado do what is best for the people of Colorado and not the special interest groups.

Please use alternate routes, please relandscape, beautify, create trails,and make attractive any new substation. Additionally please have Xcel donate funds to the Tollgate H o A. Lastly bury lines!

Not for additional power lines in the area.
