The Postal Sorting Office just off Ashley Road has recently stopped their staff from parking at their work forcing them to park on our residential roads. This has created a lot parking issues including deliveries being difficult to make, partially blocked drives, vehicles parked on corners making it difficult for larger vehicles to turn and not to mention having to park far away from your own house because they've all been taken up by the Post Office.
Don't just think of yourself in this...think of the poor postal workers that have to park far away from their work and your friends and neighbours who might want to sell their house but can't because of the lack of off street parking.
The Council said they can not do anything about it as it is not illegal.
The only way they will do something about this inconvenience is if we get signatures from at least 60% of those affected.
