The master piece needs to be reserved for the future generations to see how good our past engineers were.

The demolition of such a structure borders on pure hatred of national monuments by some people. Let rise up in masses and protect mpezeni hall. Some of us grew up sliding down the pointy end of the structure. There are so many memories attached to that hall ie: we used to watch movies from there and i can remember my first movie from there was a Hundred Rifles

That historic public structure and it's surrounding land shouldn't fall in private hands for any purpose but it's original one by whatever means. Why should development be done at the expense of other social amenities. Chifubu as a constituency has vast land where a shopping mall can be built without demolition of that beautifully designed piece of a structure. Please let's save and conserve the only building apart from the schools we can call public property.

The move is not a good one.....lets think of the future and not now.Zambia will be left with no historical building because of greedy people.....Am not in support of this move and whoever is behind this should think of our children and the poor people.......the people who will benefit from that mall are not us Zambians.restore the building and put up something to keep the Chifubu youths busy, something Zambian and educative......lets not be greedy in making descissions
