I don't have a block there, but my son is a fifth grader @ SCCS and I would love to see the tradition continued for his class and others to come!

Please don't remove our history! Those blocks were started when the school opened. I was in 3rd grade and remember this well! I love that my block is still there and I can show it to my son, who is in 1st grade at SCCS. It shows that the school cared about their alumni. Each block shows the creativity of each student that has walked those halls. Removing our history is disrespectful. The blocks are part of our legacy. There certainly isn't a shortage of blocks for classes of the future. Please fight to keep our blocks!!!!!!

Class of 1997...It was such an important milestone to be able to finally paint a block like all of those before us! I remember trying to find the blocks of my older siblings and relatives who attended decades before. Please rethink this!!!

This idea is a little ridiculous. Please don't paint the squares. The kids enjoy the pictures, and doing what their parents had done before them. The parents enjoy showing their children their blocks and reminiscing. Please, worry less about esthetics and more about the desires of the community.

25 years since I graduated and I look at my block every time I'm in the school. My children now look for it as well and like hearing all the stories associated with our class. Leave history alone!

My class of 97 was one of the first classes to paint bricks in the hallway after the pooland middle school was added. Please do not paint over them!

This is something that makes being a part of Silver Creek. Every kid gets to make their mark and can revisit that block. The school admins should have more respect. Painting over that hurts the appearance way more than ever "cleans it up"!

My in laws were just at the school commenting on what a cool idea that is. And my son is always asking where my block is. It's what makes our school charming and it's a right of passage.
