The effects of bullying is increasing more and more each day. We need to make a National Bullying Awareness Day. To have victims of people that have been bullied let them know everything is going to be okay. Even though they have been bullied for a long time. It is estimated that 160,000 children miss school everyday due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students. The average bullying time is 37 seconds long. Not a lot people care enough about the victims of bullies. It is so crucial to make this a national day. This day should be set to encourage these victims to stay strong and don't give up. And do everything in their power to stand up for themselves the best way that they can. Some effects of bullying include: Depression, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, eating disorders, change in sleep, loss of interest in activities. and sometimes drops in their Grade PointAverage. There is a common group of victims that get bullied; that is theLGBT (Lesbian,Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender). They are bullied for who they chose to be. It is ridiculous that people think that it is okay to do something like this. Just let them be who they are. They chose to be that way for a reason, and NO ONE should be judgingthemforhow they live their life. I personally can testify to this. People coming home crying because they are who they are and people dont like it. The most common typeof bullying right now is cyber bullying. This is happening all over the world. People just dont feelwelcome to anyplace anymore. Here is some final facts about bullying; 9,400 students are physically attacked each day in schools and through out their community, 43%of all students have beencyber bullies. Every seven minutes a child is bullied. Lastly every30 min a child attempts suicide due to bullying.Pleasesign this petiton and let the world know that BULLYING NEEDS TO STOP.
