This is not a good idea whatsoever !
Keep the dog park on the property where it is now and keep our kids and grand kids safe without added congestion.

The Oak Creek neighborhood is already subjected to heavy traffic flow by residents on Native Dancer using the neighborhood streets to cut through to Watsonville Rd. There are a lot of young families and small children in this neighborhood and traffic is already an issue. Placing a dog park and water features here would compound the problem even further putting residents safety at risk. Our streets cannot accommodate an increase in cars and traffic that would likely result. I would like to see the the facilities we do have be maintained better. Re-seed the grass and make improvements to the existing basketball and tennis courts. It's a wonderful park the way it is!

No dog park! We do not want more strangers (to our young children) and traffic in our wonderful neighborhood. Additionally, there will probably be an increase in fleas, etc and this causes problems for the families with dogs that do live here and want to walk their dogs in their own neighborhood. We do not take our dogs to dog parks because of the injuries that can occur and the potential infestations. There is no need for another dog park in Morgan Hill, especially here in this residential neighborhood.

We moved to this neighborhood, with our toddler about 5 years ago, because the park was already perfect place for our child to play with the neighborhood children. An added plus was that the community turned out to be quiet, friendly, and safe.
Adding a water feature, reducing the grass area, and increasing dogs to the park is a recipe for disaster to the many small children that use the park, and the neighborhood.
This proposal will create additional vehicular and pedestrian traffic in our quiet neighborhood. There is potential for increased crime. There will be increased potential for K-9 injuries, and if water is added, there is increased potential for slip - fall and / or accidental drowning type injuries to our children.
It would be more beneficial for the City to plan a dog park and water feature in an area that is central to downtown Morgan Hill. This will increase downtown foot traffic and revenue for the City of Morgan Hill. Don't let the burden in this proposal fall on to the residents of a small Morgan Hill residential community, Oak Creek.

No dog park, too much noise, too many people parking, driving in the neighborhood, more danger to the residents and children.

Bringing the extra traffic and people into this small development is a terrible idea. They need to spend the money on making the current grass green again. The drought is over and the grass is still brown. And having a dog park?? Cmon they have one less than a mile away!!! Terrible idea City of Morgan Hill.

This neighborhood could not accommodate parking and with a lot of kids in the neighborhood, it would be dangerous with more cars coming through. A dog park, water feature and extended picnic area are bad ideas for a neighborhood like this. This will create more littering, theft and traffic in a small neighborhood. Who would be held accountable for all these things not if they occur but when they occur.

This proposed enhancement does not serve the surrounding neighborhood - it actually diminishes it. We like the ark as it is. Please bring our grass back to life and leave the rest alone. Spend that money somewhere else!!!

I like the efforts of making enhancements to Oak Creek Park but i do not see the current proposed changes as enhancememts. I live in the Oak Creek Park neighborhood and do not want to see a water feature placed with the growing concerns of water conservation. I also do not want to see a dog park go up when there is an existing dog park about 1 mile away. I also do not want to see the open space of grass get eliminated, I see constant use of this space by the neighborhood kids and families.
no thank u.
