If you've ever taken the bus in New York City during rush hour in the morning or evening, and even the afternoon, you'll see it's hard to even breathe sometimes because of just how much they overpack it. The subway is not controlled entry like the bus, so people can pile on as much as they want there. There are also multiples cars. There's only one bus..

It's hard to even stand straight sometimes because of the amount of people. If the front is too crowded, they pile in through the back, literally pushing people into walls and standing on top of them. It's uncomfortable, not to mention really dangerous,

I understand this is New York, and we all gotta get somewhere now or even sooner, but the overcrowding on the buses sometimes get to be too much. Once the bus is filled in the front, meaning the line near the driver, stop letting people on. This is what is supposed to happen, but they just keep letting them on and on, and it gets to become a sardine can.

Let's change this. It's unsafe. Rooms and public places have occupancy limits, and I'd imagine a closed bus is not different. Also, you're running the risk of getting mugged, and maybe even sexually assaulted being in such close proximity with absolutely no where to go. This is New York. Not everyone is nice.

I'd like to see the MTA understand that them getting paid is not all that matters. You'll get your $2.50...on the next bus.

Let's all be a little more patient.
