Are you tired of being disturbed at all hours of the day and night by loud, souped-up cars revving their engines and driving up and down Warburton and Odell Avenues? Sign this petition to ask the Yonkers Police and our local politicians to enforce the noise ordinances and idling ordinances so we can get some peace!

In April 2022, the SLEEP Act went into effect in New York State. This bill fines vehicles from $150 to $1,000 for any illegal modifications of mufflers and exhaust systems that allow cars and motorcycles to become noisier.

We ask the Yonkers police and our political representatives to enforce this law and the no idling law, so that we, the law-abiding homeowners, coop and condo owners, renters and good citizens in NW Yonkers will no longer be harassed in our homes by these loud cars.
