The Pinelands commission has voted to approve the permit for the New Jersey Natural Gas pipeline. The pipeline is 22 miles in lenght and will run through the center of the New Jersey Pinelands. Pipelines are known to be very hazardous, which raises concerns that the pipeline could potentially pollute and destroy the Pinelands. The Pinelands is home to one of the largest sources of drinking water on the East Coast. The benefits of running the pipeline through this protected forest is not worth the risk.

In order to protect the Pinelands, we vote to change the route of the pipeline so that it will not pass through the Pinelands.
